I had several treatments administered to my left leg that was noticeably sluggish compared to my right leg. I mean it would tire quicker and aches and pains from exercise would dominate my left leg. I lived with these varicose veins all my adult life. In short order Dr. Giangobbe diagnosed my Peripheral Arterial Disease as well as the very apparent varicose veins.The medication he prescribed, combined with the sage advice of walking as therapeutic exercise, quickly alleviated my walking difficulty. Does health insurance cover varicose vein treatments?

A: Most medical insurance, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans, will cover vein treatment as a medical condition. If you are having any leg symptoms that might be vein related, it's worth finding out it your insurance will cover treatment.

How much will vein treatment cost me?

A: Out of pocket expenses depend on your specific insurance plan. Based on your benefits, we will help you figure out what you will be expected to pay for any vein treatment before we start.

Will I need to do the insurance paperwork myself?

A: No. We will file any required paperwork to your insurance carrier before treatment.
